Hi, I'm Daniel. I'm a psychotherapist who believes that therapy isn't just for crisis moments—it's for anyone who wants to live with more clarity, intention, and peace.
I didn't always plan on becoming a psychologist. Like many of my clients, I spent years chasing external markers of success—credentials, accolades, the "right" career moves. But somewhere along the way, I realized that none of it meant much if I wasn't living in alignment with what actually mattered to me.
That realization led me to philosophy, particularly the Hellenistic traditions—Stoicism, Epicureanism, and the pursuit of eudaimonia (a life well-lived). I became fascinated by the idea that satisfaction doesn't come from achievement alone, but from cultivating kindness, wisdom, and virtue. That's when I knew I wanted to help others navigate that same journey.
Today, I work with people from all walks of life who are navigating challenges like relationship struggles, anxiety, sleep issues, helplessness, boredom, or getting back into life after injuries. My approach blends evidence-based psychology with a philosophical lens—because therapy isn't just about managing symptoms. It's about helping you figure out who you are and who you want to become.
Using what I learned working in corporate to effectively plan and accomplish deliverables based on the needs of clients, I bring a practical, results-oriented approach to therapy. My 15+ years in high-stakes roles at organizations like Deloitte Australia and Commonwealth Bank of Australia taught me how to navigate pressure, set clear goals, and deliver under challenging circumstances—skills that translate directly into helping clients create meaningful change.
Outside of work, I'm a musician (drums and vocals), a philosophy nerd, and someone who values authenticity over perfection. I bring that same ethos to therapy: real conversations, no corporate jargon, and a genuine commitment to helping you find your way back to yourself.
I bring a unique blend of academic psychology training, corporate experience, and holistic wellness expertise to my therapeutic practice.
This unique combination allows me to understand the pressures people face—not just theoretically, but from lived experience.
Therapy is collaborative, not prescriptive. You're the expert on your own life—I'm here to help you see things from new angles, challenge unhelpful patterns, and build practical skills for lasting change.
My therapeutic style is grounded in evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), but I also draw from philosophical traditions that emphasize values, meaning, and virtue. This means we don't just focus on symptom reduction—we also explore what it means to live a life that feels genuinely satisfying.
You don't need to be in crisis to gain value from therapy. If you're curious, stuck, or simply want to live with more intention, that's reason enough to reach out.
Modern society has increasingly driven us away from deeper meaning and connection. Many people feel a void—a sense that something essential is missing from their lives, even when everything looks fine on the surface.
I believe the soul is integral to our history and our future. This isn't a religious perspective—people of all beliefs (or no belief) are welcomed here. Rather, it's an acknowledgment that at the core of most religious and philosophical teachings is a simple truth: love, connection, and meaning are what make us human.
In therapy, we explore not just the symptoms you're experiencing, but the deeper questions: What gives your life meaning? What connects you to others? What values guide you? These aren't abstract questions—they're the foundation of a life that feels genuinely satisfying.
Whether you identify as spiritual, religious, secular, or somewhere in between, this work is about reconnecting with what matters most to you.
